    What is shown

The fields the Air Medical Journal printed in its CONCERN Network section in 2006: date, program and city, vendor, weather, aircraft, who was aboard by role, injuries, and the description.

Tail numbers, report sources, and the names of individuals are withheld. Coded fields show the light condition rather than the clock time; the bulletin text keeps times as reported.

    How it is coded

Each bulletin is kept as distributed. Event type, phase, injury, damage, and reporting status are research coding by Russell Griffin, PhD, MBA. They are not part of the NTSB record and may contain errors.

Where bulletins disagreed or a later bulletin corrected an earlier one, each change is logged with its basis.

    About the archive

The archive is built on the bulletins kept from about 2000 by David Kearns, MS, RN, CFRN, CONCERN Coordinator. Programs shared these reports with one another so others could learn from them. The archive keeps them as they were distributed.

Follow-ups, corrections, and duplicate distributions are folded into the event they describe. Notices, memorials, and test messages are kept in the archive but are not shown as events.
