Submit a research question.

Do you have a research question, or something you believe should be asked? Is there a topic that stands out to you that researchers could investigate? Many useful questions come from the people doing the work.

What you can submit

A research question: A specific question you want answered. For example, whether a particular practice changes how often crews raise safety concerns.
A topic that needs study: An area of practice where the field relies on custom or opinion rather than evidence.
An opportunity to take part: A program willing to serve as a site, share data, or review a study.
Something else: A published finding you believe has been overlooked, a study that should be replicated, or a publication missing from the Research Library.

What happens next

The working group reviews every submission.
Questions within AMSARC's scope are shared with researchers in the working group who may pursue them.
If you provided an email address and asked to be contacted, we will let you know how the question was handled.

Before you write

AMSARC is not a confidential or protected safety reporting system. It is not part of an ASAP, FOQA, or any federal reporting program. Report specific events through your own program's safety reporting process.

Describe the question, not the event. Leave out patient information and any names, dates, tail numbers, or locations that would identify a person, aircraft, or program.
